The Joe & Nancy Caton Memorial Scholarship was founded in 1973 for entering freshmen who are honor students. 
Qualifications for the scholarship:
The recipient must complete 12 hours each semester
The recipient must have ranked in the top 10% of their class (excluding valedictorian/salutatorian)
The recipient must repay if the student withdraws from college or fails to complete 12 semester hours with at least a 2.5 GPA
Selection is made by the financial aid office or family
