The Betty Burrow Memorial Scholarship was founded in 1990 for graduates of Ira High School.
Qualifications for the scholarship:
The recipient must be a “B” student
The recipient must be an Ira High School graduate; In the event that Ira ISD ceases to exist, the scholarship may be awarded to a Scurry County resident
The recipient must have a strong desire to continue their education; a preferred education major
The scholarship recipient shall receive an amount no less than $400 per semester if funds are available. Any scholarship funds remaining afterward may be used for a second scholarship recipient or held over for use the next year.
