The Oscar P. Haney Scholarship was founded in 2004.
Qualifications for the scholarship:
The scholarship may be awarded to a freshman with a high school GPA of 3.5 or better
The recipient must be a full-time student at WTC
The recipient must repay if the student withdraws from college or fails to complete 12 semester hours with at least a 2.5 GPA
Selection is made by the donor or the financial aid director in the event that the family is unable to select the recipient
The recipient must be a non-traditional student or a criminal justice major
