The Jimmy Whitney Memorial Scholarship was founded in 1996. 
Qualifications for the scholarship:
Scholarship will be awarded to a deserving recipient, in need of funding with any major of study.
Recipient must be a full time student (12hrs)
Recipient must repay if the student withdraws from college or fails to complete 12 semester hours with at least a 2.5 GPA
Selection is made by the Financial Aid/Scholarship Committee. Family must be contacted on the receipt of scholarship
