There are a variety of ways you can give to the Western Texas College Foundation. You may wish to give an outright gift and invest in the WTC Endowment fund, or you may prefer to give to a particular scholarship or campus program. You may even wish to establish a new scholarship in memory or honor of a loved one. If you’re a WTC faculty or staff donor, you may consider the Employee Giving Program through payroll deduction. Whatever your preference, we are ready to assist you in making your gift.
A gift in memory or in honor of a family member, friend or other special person is a thoughtful and generous way to recognize a person’s life and accomplishments. Furthermore, your generosity helps qualified students pursue educational dreams at WTC.
Memorial or Honorary Gifts to Western Texas College Foundation may be of any amount and designated to any or our scholarships or to the Foundation’s general fund. An endowed memorial/honorary scholarship may also be set up to provide an ongoing source of financial assistance to WTC students. When making a memorial or honorary gift please include the following information and mail it with your check to the address below:
Western Texas College Foundation, 6200 College Ave. Snyder, TX 79549
When a gift is received, the WTC Foundation will notify the honoree or next of kin of your thoughtful gesture and send you a letter documenting your tax-deductible contribution.
Student scholarships are at the heart of the history of the WTC Foundation. The Foundation continues this tradition of providing financial assistance to young men and women who are eager to learn and grow into their full potential, but who lack the financial resources to attend college. A scholarship can make the difference between a student staying in school or being forced to abandon their education because of economic hardship. All gifts are deeply appreciated.
A new scholarship may be endowed and named with a minimum contribution of $10,000. The contribution may be given as a single gift or in a series of gifts over a period of time. At the time the scholarship is established, the donor may help determine the terms and conditions for awarding scholarships.
Because the principal of the scholarship fund is never spent, an endowed scholarship provides an on-going source of financial assistance to WTC students. It also creates a lasting legacy for the person, company, or organization in whose honor or memory the scholarship is established. Gifts to the scholarship will be placed in a permanent fund and invested. Only the income will be available for scholarship awards.
If you are interested in establishing a new scholarship, please contact the Western Texas College Foundation at (325) 574-7943 or email@example.com.
