The Jerry & Mickey Baird Scholarship was founded in 1986 for students desiring an education. 
Qualifications for the scholarship:
The recipient must complete 12 semester hours each semester and must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
The recipient must repay if the student withdraws from college during the semester
The recipient must be a varsity cheerleader to maintain the scholarship
Selection is made by the cheerleader sponsor
